InterSearch Worldwide, a leading global executive search organization operating in more than 50 countries, recently held its annual global conference and general assembly of member firms in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada.
With a focus on regional business development and promoting cross-border search work and networking, nearly 50 search and leadership consulting professionals from 32 countries attended the interactive conference.

At the meeting Patricia Epperlein (InterSearch Brazil) was named chairwoman of the InterSearch Standard & Quality Committee with Andras Lipcsei (InterSearch Hungary) and Jyorden Misra (InterSearch India) as members. The SQC reported on the positive results of the Quality Appraisal Program, which was launched in 2014.

InterSearch Worldwide, a leading global executive search organization operating in more than 50 countries, has announced that 21 executive search consultants and researchers from 13 countries have graduated from the 10th InterSearch Academy International Training Program in Frankfurt.
InterSearch Worldwide recently conducted a survey to gauge the hiring intentions – particularly involving cross-border searches – of executives among its client companies during the year ahead.

Peter Waite is Executive Chairman of Waite InterSearch the exclusive Australian representative company of InterSearch Worldwide a global executive search business and the Waite Group a Human Resource organisation spanning over 55 years in Australia.
Waite believes his broad experience of Human Resources and Marketing, Club involvement including directorships, chairing, governance and service dedication could assist his application for election to the RACV Club board next month.
Waite has selected high-level candidates for senior positions and directorships of many and varied public and private sector boards throughout Asia Pacific. He has recently completed his two terms as a Director of the global group of InterSearch Worldwide and last March was elected Global Chairman. He does have time to devote to another worthwhile organisation such as the RACV.
Waite is one of three nominees for the two RACV Club board seats, which includes the incumbent directors standing for re-election.
“I believe I can add youth and vitality by being elected to the RACV Club board,” Waite said.
“I also utilise the modern social media forums such as Twitter, Facebook and a website so that I am aware of member and community commentary and can directly communicate with people, accordingly.”
“The current RACV board members have done an excellent job in guiding a very large membership services, resorts and insurance business. Some Directors of the RACV have been on the Board from 10 to 20 years. As I am in the business of recruiting non-executive directors to boards, best practice is that they should remain on a board for around six years and then it’s time for renewal of talent.”
Waite says that his interest as a recreational cyclist is also important to the RACV membership as he appreciates and understands the reasons or difficulties leading to confrontational incidents on our roads.
“I am a road user as a motorist primarily and also as a cyclist, as well as using public transport to the city as well as to and from my beef farm at Tallarook on weekends, so these factors combine to give an understanding of the issues which affect these groups in sharing our roadways,” Waite said.
Peter Waite has a strong pedigree of involvement with sports, business, human resources, service organisations and knowledge of the oil industry and the needs of life in the country as well as the city. His relevant experience spans over 30 years and he also believes he has knowledge of people and how organisations are best serviced administratively for the benefit of its members.
“However, in order to learn more about how our club operates, I have visited RACV club facilities and resort throughout Australia talking with staff and interest groups to gain a better understanding of perceived areas of improvement. Recently I was involved in a focus group regarding the Members Dining Room at the City Club in Melbourne. The RACV has a long standing reputation for high standards and I believe that I could make a worthwhile contribution to the club and its members.”
To continue to provide prudent financial management with the objective to maintain healthy surpluses to invest back in commercial operations to provide a secure future for the RACV as well as donate to appropriate charities.
Provide more membership benefits particularly with respect to providing even more competitive insurance and club resort discounts as a reward for customer and member loyalty.
Assist in devising an infrastructure strategy blueprint for road, rail, cycling transport for metropolitan and regional Victoria.
Ensure regional Victoria is well represented on the Board to ensure that road and public transport initiatives are promoted.
Provide leadership on road safety initiatives for all road users.
To ensure that the democratic process for elections of Directors of the RACV is reviewed and is an open and transparent process.
Peter Waite is a past committee member (1984-86) and chairman (1985-86) of the Old Melburnians Football Club VAFA and a long standing member and subsequent chairman of the Toorak RSL Memorial Trust Patriotic Fund for four years.
His memberships include sporting bodies Melbourne Cricket Club, Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club and Field and Game Australia. He was the RACV Club’s snooker champion in 2011.
Waite was also a member of the Old Melburnians Society (1985-90), serving as sporting clubs Chairman during this period and Vice-President in 1996. He has been a member of the Melbourne Club since 1990 and on its Reciprocal Clubs sub-committee for six years having visited numerous overseas clubs, presiding as Chairman in 2012-13. He was also the inaugural chairman (2005 -06) for Activate Australia providing leadership programmes for disadvantaged youth.
After completing his Bachelor of Business at Caulfield Institute of Technology in 1980, h e worked as a Territory Manager for Mobil Oil in Far North Queensland between 1981-83 before returning to Melbourne to join the Waite Group.
Waite has been involved in ongoing roles with related companies as executive chairman of Waitesearch International Pty Ltd , chairman of Toto Investments Pty Ltd – The Point Lonsdale Guest House (since 2003), and was chairman of the Standards and Quality Committee for Intersearch Worldwide Ltd (UK) from 2012 - 2014,.
